Somewhere along the way, you became the case manager.

Six specialists. Four portals. A binder of test results. And fifteen minutes to make your case before the next patient. The system handed you a full-time job you never applied for—and no training or tools.

Symptoms of a broken system:
  • Feeling dismissed
  • Retelling your story again to every new provider
  • Forgetting what was said the moment you walk out
  • Instructions that go nowhere once you're home
  • Error-prone charts that don't tell your whole story
  • Portals holding your records hostage

A better visit in 3 steps.

Advokit guides you through every phase of your medical visit.

Step 1 — Prepare

Walk in with a plan.

Guided chat turns your symptoms and questions into a one-page visit guide your doctor can scan in seconds.

  • Makes sure you're prepared with the critical info your doctor needs
  • Captures your questions and suggests ones to ask
  • Generates a personalized visit guide to share priorities with your doctor
Step 2 — Visit

Stay present.

Advokit listens. Record the conversation and get a clear summary of your doctor's assessment and instructions.

  • Generates a summary of your doctor's assessment and instructions
  • On-screen visit guide lets you check off your questions and concerns as you go
  • Easy-access notepad for jotting down key moments mid-visit
Step 3 — Act

Follow through without the mental load.

Instructions become a trackable to-do list; summaries are shareable with family and other providers.

  • Smart to-do lists with priority labels and categories all on one dashboard
  • Shareable summaries to keep family members and other providers informed
  • Choose what's included on your health profile to share with your care team

Own your next appointment.

On your side. Always.

Advokit always puts the patient's experience first. Every feature, every flow, every decision is designed around what's best for you—not insurance, not the healthcare system, not any other player.
Here's what patient-centered design looks like:

Your health on your terms

You set the agenda for appointments. You choose what's included on your health summary.

A tool that moves with you

Finally, a care dashboard that moves with you from clinic to clinic, not trapped behind multiple portal logins.

Private and secure

Your information is encrypted and kept separate from every other user's, using the same industry-standard protections trusted by leading cloud providers.

You're the customer, not the product

Free apps often pay their bills by selling your data, using their platform to target you for ads, or using your inputs to train AI. We don't. Because you support us directly, we will never sell, trade, or monetize your data.

A trusted partner in health.

Questions? We've got you.

Advokit is a patient empowerment app that helps you prepare for medical appointments, stay engaged during them, and follow through on your doctor's instructions afterward. Think of it as your personal health advocate in your pocket.

In short: No. Advokit is your personal health advocate and organizational partner, not a medical professional.

Your doctor is the expert on medicine; you are the expert on you. Advokit simply helps the two of you work better together.

Yes. We believe that to own your health, you must own your data. Your recordings and summaries are encrypted and stored with the highest privacy standards, and we never sell your data or use it to train AI.

In most cases, yes — but it's important to be aware of the rules in your state. Recording laws generally fall into two categories: "one-party consent" (where only you need to know you're recording) and "two-party consent" (where everyone in the room must agree).

Because laws vary and the doctor-patient relationship is built on trust, we always recommend being transparent. Letting your provider know you are recording ensures you stay on the right side of the law and the right side of your doctor's clinical boundaries.

States that typically require "two-party" or "all-party" consent include:

  • California
  • Delaware
  • Florida
  • Illinois
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Montana
  • Nevada
  • New Hampshire
  • Pennsylvania
  • Washington

Note: These laws can be nuanced. Always check your local regulations to be sure.

Most providers are comfortable with recording as long as you are transparent. We've built Advokit with provider feedback to ensure the process is helpful, not intrusive.

Pro-tip — try this script

"I have a hard time remembering the details on my own. Would you mind if I record to help me follow through on your instructions?"

You might try asking:

Try this script

"Would it be okay if I just record a quick summary of your instructions at the end so I don't forget anything?"

If you or your doctor are uncomfortable with that, immediately after the appointment say everything you can remember into the recorder on your own. Advokit will build a written summary using that.
