You’ll lead the architecture and development of an intelligent, secure, and empathetic platform that creates a seamless and intuitive user experience—redefining how patients experience healthcare.

Deep empathy for patients—ideally has experienced or witnessed the complexity of navigating the healthcare system firsthand

Frontend:
React/React Native for cross-platform web and mobile experiences
Strong understanding of modern UX/UI for healthcare or complex data workflows
Familiarity with accessibility and usability standards in healthcare contexts
Backend:
Python (FastAPI, Django) or Node.js (Express, NestJS) for scalable RESTful APIs
Strong grounding in database design—SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firestore)
Experience with authentication, authorization, and secure session management (OAuth2, JWT)
Cloud infrastructure setup and deployment (AWS, GCP, or Vercel/Firebase for early MVPs)

CI/CD setup, containerization (Docker), and scalable hosting
Cloud data security and encryption best practices
Version control and collaboration via Git and modern development workflows

Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom Python/JS agents)
Experience with contextual memory, tool use, and multi-step reasoning workflows
Ability to integrate voice or chat interfaces and handle stateful AI interactions

Familiarity with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources)
Experience consuming and normalizing data from EHR APIs (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Particle Health, etc.)
Understanding of healthcare identifiers (MRN, NPI), HIPAA, and privacy requirements

Handling sensitive health information securely (encryption, audit logging, RBAC)
Designing systems to comply with HIPAA and HITECH frameworks
Comfortable bridging patient-entered data with clinical data streams
